Tiredness and Well Being

Well, I have now started my new job, which is, so far, fabbo. So nice to be in a room full of adults! Things seem to be going tickety-boo for me at the moment, except for a general tiredness that seems to have seeped through to my very core.
Things have also been improved no end by the current events in America, which I have become obsessed with to the point of lunacy. Now that Clinton has ended her reign of terror, we can knuckle down to the serious business of watching McCain getting his ass handed to him.
Ellen and I watched the Apprentice for the first time this season last night, and was quite pleasantly surprised by it, despite having been told by all and sundry how addictive it actually is. We both took an instant dislike to Thatcherite nightmare Lucinda, and enjoyed watching her booted. Quite looking forward to the final next week now, and will definitely watch it from the start next year.
Anyway, apologies for the lack of posting recently, I will endeavor to rectify that in the coming weeks. I feel a bit of an overhaul of this site coming on soon too.

What are your thoughts on an Obama/Clinton ticket?
After all this in-fighting and bitching (mostly from HRC), the Democrat party is going to have a tough time on their hands convincing the nation that they’re all cool with themselves, and that the party is united etc…
The way things are looking, if Hillary does make it known that she would be open the VP position (which she is likely to announce at a press conference on Saturday, where she’ll officially concede), then maybe the Obama campaign might not have much choice if they are to convince voters that the party hasn’t suffered after all her petty bullshit…
I’d forgotten that there was someone other than me in the UK that gave a shit about the primaries… Been dead exciting, eh?

Personally I don’t think it would be a good idea, too much weight on the bottom of the ticket. He needs a Clintonite to win her supporters over, but there’s too much animosity between them now, for her to be effective. Plus, her unfavourables are pretty much the same as his, he really needs a white man from the South. To be honest though, John McCain is such a poor candidate (as evidenced by his appaling speech the other night) that I can’t see how Obama can lose it now, short of some kind of Lewinsky nightmare. But then I thought the same about John Kerry, and look what happened there. Lets face it, the Republicans will be doing all they can to make sure they can steal their first election.
But yeah, it’s like the worlds most illogical soap opera. I especially love the way Republicans bandy the term ‘liberal’ about like it’s the political equivalent of being a paedophile. Crazy.
