Baby noise

It’s strange how differently the ear hears noise. When Rosie cries it is somehow palatable to my ears, but when the next door neighbour’s baby has woken me up ridiculously early for the last two days it is like being set adrift on a field of papercuts.

That is an odd trait of parenting. Then you get a few years down the road to when your kids are whining and crying so much that you don’t hear them at all. And then one of your kids is crying and someone is looking at you like, “Hellllllo? Are you not even going to respond to your child’s wails?” and you’re like, “Awww crap, is that one of mine again?”

Speaking of children - when are you going to bring Rosie round to visit again? I’m starting to think you made her up.
Also, could you also bring my hat? You could put it on her and then it’d be funny as well.

I shall bring her round soon, hat too! The devil child next door seems to have read my blog too, it hasn’t woken me up since!
