The decision to put my entire music collection onto random for the purpose of confusing Last.fm has utterly glued me to my computer. It’s like crack. I just have to know what the next track is going to be, and now that I’ve decided not to skip anything, I’ve found myself listening to very strange things indeed. For som reason though, the overall mood created by such musical randomisations is one of bewildering calm.
I’ve been meaning to get a best of 2006 compilation (like the very excellent one by Last Year’s Girl) up for download here, but I haven’t finished tinkering with it, and there are a few albums I’m still digesting at the moemtn, but I should have it up this week. Providing of course that Jonic doesn’t mind the server hosting it…..

Ah, but surely listening to your collection on random is hardly an accurate reflection of your musical tastes! Mine is generally on random too, but I’ll skip if I’m bored - and I’m constantly deleting tracks from my iTunes that I’ve grown bored of, or downloaded on a whim.
Lookign forward to the complilation! You can always use yousendit.com as a host, if you only want it up for a week.

Now that I’ve started using the scrobbler I’ve actually been stopping myself listening to things because it won’t make me look cool on my profile…
I’m listening to Phantomsmasher at the moment, but I doubt I’ll be following it up with Missy Elliot with the Internets watching me… Perhaps I’ll disable scrobbling for an hour or so…

There’s nothing wrong with Missy… She’s just not to yor liking…
I’m going to try not to filter what is scrobbbbbbled and what is not because, after all, what does it flippin’ matter?
I’m glad you’re actually using this blog by the way… More images with posts*! Brings text to life and that! Trust me, I’m a web designer…
* At least one per post… A little more effort, but it makes a huge difference (no wider than 400 pixels)
