Look at my lovely new clothes!

Well, thanks to Jonic, who has done a sweltering job on redesigning this place for me. What do we all think? I think it’s lovely! Still some very big news to impart, but it has to be told to some more people in person before I go shouting it out to the world. But anyway, should have full net access this week at some point, so I look forward to that.

Glad you like it mate. It could be better, but it’s certainly a huge step on from Vader.
I like the balance between content and sidebar. I think I’ve found the magic ratio. I was tempted to keep this for myself, but seeing as though I put a fair few dozen hours into 100yen I think I’ll keep it for a little while.
Did you try out the search form yet? It’s well weapon.
Every six months there is an event called CSS Reboot, where designers redesign their website and show it off for the world to see. The Fall 2006 Reboot launched yesterday, and seeing as though this design was finished before the deadline I decided to enter it.
It’s not a competition, there are no prizes, but you’ll no doubt get a little more traffic, so blog man, blog!
Your CSS Reboot page is here: http://www.cssreboot.com/reboot2013. People may leave comments there telling me how ace your design is and that I should be crowned king of all, so keep an eye on that page over the next few weeks.
I’ll also try to get some web stats software installed so you can keep track of your visitors. In the meantime give these new visitors something to read! Now’s a good chance to get people reading. I’ll have a chat with you about effective ways to make your blog more popular next time I see you, and you can buy me a pint for the redesign. Sound fair?
