It’s amazing how much different I feel after just a few days without nicotine. I’m more active, my sense of taste is astoundingly improved and I feel a general glow of good health. Aside from all the phlegm of course. I can see why non-smokers become so militant, not that that’s what I’ll be doing.
Tests I’ve passed so far:
- Being offered a cigarette at work.
- Sitting through an Arsenal - Man U game in a smoky pub.
- Having enough money in my pocket for cigarettes and not buying any.
So, not too shabby so far. Anyway, I’ve been re-reading a lot of my Douglas Coupland books at the moment until I can summon the funds for his latest. I forgot how good Microserfs is.
