I’ve come to the conclusion that there is nothing more annoying than a paggered bike.  Since the move to Haxby (which went swimmingly) I now have to cycle to and from work.  Unfortunately I have to contend with the bicycle equivalent of a grumpy teenager.  The back brake is broken, the tyres refuse to stay inflated for more than a few hours, and the gears skip constantly.  Great fun.

But anyway, we’re in the new house now, and it looks beeny good.  We’ve even had visitors.  All tremendously exciting. Not as exciting as the fact that it shouldn’t be long now before someone comes back to York that I’ve been most looking forward to seeing again.
